Wellness can be defined as the quality or state of being healthy in the body, mind and soul, as a result of deliberate effort. It is also part of the holistic healthcare model that we embrace in our practice. True health and wellness has many different dimensions, from dietary habits to stress management. Client health and care is our top priority. Our mission is to help you find and maintain your balance, with an experience as unique as you are.
Our Philosophy

Hours & Studio Etiquette
Hours of Operation:
Our office hours are 10 am - 6 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays from 10 am - 4 pm by appointment only. Sunday and early morning appointments are available under extreme circumstances.
Booking Policy:
All appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Any changes to the appointment including: client being provided the service, add-ons and length of service must be made 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations and No-Show Policy:
Any service being provided must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance by phone call, otherwise, it is considered a missed appointment and the client will pay the full amount of the scheduled service. Missed appointments or No-show fees are the client's responsibility, and the client will pay the full amount of the scheduled service. If using a gift card, coupon, or Groupon, a Missed appointment or No-show will nullify and void the voucher.
Etiquette & Tardiness :
It is important that you disclose any medical conditions, pregnancy, or medications that may impact your massage treatment. Please trust that your Licensed Massage Therapist has your health, well-being, and safety in mind. She may discuss a different treatment option, or limit pressure. This would only be necessary to accommodate individual circumstances that contraindicate a specific massage treatment.
Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time or early for your appointment to fill out any paperwork.
Payment Policy and Refunds
Our office policy requires payment in full at the time of service. It should be noted that Kelsey Matousek is not involved with any insurance contract other than VA Community Care/Veterans Choice.
If you are unhappy with your service, a refund will only be granted if the client calls the therapist within 24 hours of the service received.

COVID-19 Updates
We have made a variety of efforts to ensure that our patients, clients, and staff remain safe during these uncertain times. Below is an overview of new policies and guidelines being put in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the situation and knowledge of COVID-19 continues to unfold, the information below may be subject to change. Please feel free to ask any questions, and stay connected with us via email or social media to receive the latest updates.
Before your appointment:
-
I will communicate with you beforehand to obtain updates to your health information and ask you specifically about your potential exposure to COVID-19.
-
When you arrive at the office, I will ask that you wait in your vehicle until I text you or come outside to get you.
-
I will use a no-touch screening device to make sure that you do not have a fever.
-
I will be contacting you prior to your appointment in order to review a screening questionnaire, which I will ask that you sign upon your arrival.
-
Please bring a facemask to use in the building and for the duration of your massage therapy appointment.
-
I will ask you to sign an informed consent form in which you assume responsibility for the potential risk of infection from COVID-19.
-
You will be required to use proper hand hygiene via washing your hands with soap or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
-
I will be moving to contactless payment or cash only. Credit card information will be required to store on file electronically.
Cleaning and Sanitation:
This practice operates based on guidelines recommended by the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB). There will now be extended time between appointments to allow the treatment room to air, and adequate disinfecting of highly touched surfaces will be done between each client. Our sheets are washed in the hottest water setting possible with a laundry booster and color safe bleach.
Prices and Services:
We have made the difficult decision to raise our prices $5 after four years of practice. This will commence on July 1st, 2020.
Package deals are being discontinued until further notice as a result of increased costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Clients with existing packaged sessions; please do not worry. Your treatment sessions will be honored until completion of your package.
FOR CLIENT SAFETY: Hot Corestone treatments are being placed on hold until further notice. This decision was reached because of new findings of blood clotting issues in people who have contracted the COVID-19 virus. I am also urging clients who receive deep tissue or integrative treatments to consider getting tested for COVID-19 for safest treatment session possible.
Clients will not be charged a cancellation fee if they cancel due to potential or confirmed COVID-19 infection
